This resolution commends the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), a nonprofit charitable organization with over 233 branches across 32 states, for hosting its 18th Annual Health for Humanity Yogathon from January 18-February 2, 2025. The resolution highlights that in January 2024, over 15,500 residents from 36 states participated, including more than 4,640 students and teachers from 35 schools. By recognizing this event, the Legislative Body aims to celebrate cultural diversity and ethnic pride while promoting the benefits of yoga as an ancient practice originating from the Indian subcontinent.
