This bill amends the public authorities law to create a new disability benefit for employees of the New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) and its subsidiary corporations who are injured by assault while on the job. This supplemental payment will be made bi-weekly by the authority and will continue for as long as the employee receives workers' compensation for the same disability.
