The working group must convene as soon as possible and submit a comprehensive report to the California Legislature by June 1, 2026, detailing their findings and recommendations. The bill is specifically designed to address the unique healthcare service integration in the northern San Diego region and will automatically be repealed on June 1, 2030, ensuring a time-limited approach to studying and potentially improving healthcare district operations in the area.
