This bill establishes a new distinctive "Women Veterans" license plate and creates a dedicated Women Veterans Support Fund in New York State. Vehicle owners who are women veterans can request a special license plate, which will cost the standard registration fee plus an additional $25 annual service charge. The first $6,000 collected from these additional charges will go toward the design and production of the plates, and any amount over that will be deposited into the new Women Veterans Support Fund.
