Warlik was also involved in local politics, running for Town Board in 2007 and working with various Democratic committees and the Schenectady County Senior and Long-Term Care department. She was the president of the CSEA Retirees Local 940 and was known for her commitment to community service and humanitarian spirit. The resolution honors her legacy, acknowledges her survivors (two sons and three grandchildren), and formally expresses mourning for her death, with a copy of the resolution to be transmitted to her family as a gesture of respect and remembrance.
