The bill also requires that each exclusive agreement include an annual audit provision to ensure compliance with the usage terms. The City Council will have 10 days to introduce a resolution to approve or disapprove the agreement, and if no action is taken, the agreement will be considered approved. The bill aims to increase transparency and community input in decisions about the use of public recreational spaces, ensuring that such agreements are thoroughly vetted and serve the public interest.
