The second section updates provisions for noncorrective action tank site improvements, maintaining the existing maximum reimbursement limits for various tank-related actions such as compliance upgrades, tank removal, release confirmation, and site assessments. Importantly, the bill introduces a new provision requiring applicants to submit reimbursement applications within one year of work completion, with a special provision for projects approved before September 1, 2025, allowing applications to be submitted by February 1, 2026. Failure to timely submit applications after September 1, 2025, will result in a loss of reimbursement eligibility.
