This resolution congratulates Mr. Nicholas Rucker, who has been named the 2024 Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) state recipient by the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). As a physical therapist assistant student at Athens Technical College, Rucker was selected from among 22 TCSG college GOAL winners for demonstrating excellent academic and leadership abilities. The GOAL program, which has existed for 52 years, celebrates technical education's importance in Georgia's workforce and brings together business, government, and industry leaders. Rucker will serve as an ambassador for technical education, representing the more than 148,000 TCSG students across the state. The resolution officially congratulates and commends Rucker for his achievements, wishes him continued success, and directs the Senate Secretary to provide him with an official copy of the resolution as a formal recognition of his accomplishments.
