Manufacturers can still review and retain existing animal testing data. A violation of this provision is considered a deceptive trade practice, which can result in civil and criminal penalties. The bill provides detailed definitions for terms like "household cleaning product," "ingredient," and "manufacturer," and specifically excludes certain products regulated under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act.
