This bill appropriates $275 million from the Budget Reserve Trust Fund Account to the Support Education Excellence in Kentucky (SEEK) Program in fiscal year 2025-2026, with the primary purpose of providing a mandatory five percent salary increase to eligible school district employees. An "eligible employee" is defined as a full-time employee of a school district who is employed on or before September 15 of the school year.
