The bill also provides an ACT-to-GPA conversion table that allows students without traditional GPA measurements to qualify for scholarships, with ACT scores between 18 and 28+ mapping to equivalent grade point averages ranging from 2.70 to 4.00. These changes aim to create more equitable scholarship opportunities for students from schools that may not follow standard certification processes, ensuring they have access to educational financial support comparable to students from certified schools.
