AI Summary
This bill establishes a new framework for licensing and regulating various construction trades in Georgia, including electrical, plumbing, conditioned air, low voltage, and utility contracting, by creating a State Construction Industry Licensing Board with specialized divisions for each trade. It outlines specific requirements for licensure, such as experience, education, and examinations, and defines different classes of licenses within each trade, like Electrical Contractor Class I and II, and Master Plumber Class I and II. The bill also addresses reciprocity with other states, provides provisions for military members seeking licenses, and amends existing laws to update definitions for "small business" and increase the required educational hours for massage therapists.
