This means the fee threshold will be increased annually by the unadjusted percentage change in the CPI-U during the 12-month period ending in September of the previous year, with the result rounded to the nearest $10. Contracts below this fee threshold will be exempt from certain public notice, evaluation, and selection procedures outlined in other sections of the Act, potentially simplifying the procurement process for smaller professional services contracts.
