This bill provides a $1,500,000 appropriation from state bond proceeds to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for accessibility and rehabilitation improvements to the Gitchi-Gami State Trail, a designated state trail located along Minnesota's North Shore. The funding will specifically support improvements at the Flood Bay State Wayside and additional projects between Gooseberry Falls State Park and Split Rock Lighthouse State Park. To finance these improvements, the commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to the $1,500,000 amount, following standard state bonding procedures outlined in Minnesota Statutes and Constitutional provisions.
