Additionally, Connecticut State Community College will be mandated to offer comprehensive career and financial counseling services to women who apply to these training programs, regardless of whether they ultimately participate. The bill requires annual reporting on the demographic information of program participants, with a focus on tracking the number and percentage of women in these training opportunities. By implementing these measures, the bill seeks to increase female participation in manufacturing workforce training and provide targeted support to help women enter and succeed in manufacturing careers.
