This bill amends the Water Code to modify requirements for emergency water regulations issued by the State Water Resources Control Board during drought conditions. The board must then make the completed study publicly available on its website within 30 days. The bill maintains the board's existing authority to issue emergency regulations to prevent water waste, promote water conservation, require water use reporting, and address critical drought conditions.
