This resolution congratulates and recognizes the Parkers Chapel Trojans cheerleading team for winning the 2024 Class 1A-2A state championship in Arkansas, which they achieved at the Arkansas High School Cheerleading Championships held at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs on December 20, 2024. The team scored 84.17 points in the finals, beating the Gurdon High School Go-Devils, and had previously scored 177.45 points in the qualifying round. They excelled in multiple categories, including Crowd Leading, Band Chant, and Overall Crowd Leading, and comprised 19 team members led by Coach Cindee Mason. The resolution also highlights the team's additional achievement of finishing as national runners-up at the National Cheerleaders Association High School Nationals competition in Dallas, Texas, in January 2025, where they scored 92.5 points in the Game Day Coed Varsity Medium Division. The resolution formally acknowledges the team's accomplishments and directs that a copy be presented to Coach Cindee Mason by the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives.
