Known for its Southern cuisine, including signature fried chicken and dishes prepared from Beatrice Steele's original recipes, the restaurant has been a community gathering place for decades, serving plant workers, families, and locals with its down-home hospitality and consistently prepared meals. The resolution highlights the restaurant's commitment to scratch-made food, served Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5:00 AM, and celebrates its reputation for excellent service, family dedication, and its role in creating lasting memories for Chattanooga residents.
