This bill establishes the Climate Displacement Task Force, a multi-stakeholder group designed to proactively address potential population movements caused by climate change impacts. The Task Force is required to meet at least monthly and will be dissolved on December 31, 2028, with the goal of developing robust policy recommendations in consultation with residents, advocates, and industry stakeholders to enhance the state's resilience to climate-driven displacement.
