The legislation is set to take effect on May 1, 2025, and appears designed to provide clearer regulatory guidelines for community and municipal centers that might host adult-oriented performances or content. The change could potentially subject such venues to the same regulatory restrictions and oversight as traditional adult entertainment businesses.
