This bill authorizes expenditures for the Select Committee on Intelligence for the period of March 1, 2025, through February 28, 2027. * The Select Committee on Intelligence is authorized to make expenditures from the contingent fund of the Senate, employ personnel, and use the services of personnel from other government departments or agencies. * Expenses for the period of March 1, 2025, through September 30, 2025, shall not exceed $5,261,497. * Expenses for the period of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, shall not exceed $9,019,709. * Expenses for the period of October 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027, shall not exceed $3,758,212. * Within these total amounts, specific limits are set for the procurement of consultant services for each period: $10,208 for the first period, $17,500 for the second period, and $7,292 for the third period. * Expenses will be paid from the contingent fund of the Senate, with some exceptions for which vouchers are not required, such as salaries, telecommunications, stationery, and mail costs. * Agency contributions related to employee compensation will be paid from the appropriations account for "Expenses of Inquiries and Investigations" of the Senate for all covered periods.
