This bill establishes an agricultural water quality credit program for certain agricultural properties in eight specific Minnesota counties (Dodge, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona). To be eligible, properties must be classified as class 2a or 2b agricultural land and be certified by the commissioner of agriculture or a certifying agent under existing water quality certification programs.
