This bill amends Minnesota's street racing law by introducing mandatory minimum fines for individuals convicted of racing vehicles on public streets or highways. Specifically, the bill establishes a tiered fine structure based on a person's prior racing violations: first-time offenders will be required to pay at least $300, those with one prior violation within ten years will face a minimum fine of $550, and individuals with two or more prior violations within ten years will be subject to a minimum fine of $850.
