Additionally, the bill directs the Commission on Teacher Credentialing to create a waiver process for individuals seeking a preliminary or clear designated subjects career technical education teaching credential, which are credentials for teaching specific vocational subjects, if they hold a valid industry-recognized certification in a trade designated by the commission and have at least five years of relevant work experience, with the commission being responsible for developing and maintaining a list of eligible trades.
