This resolution honors Go To Girls, Inc. (GTG), a nonprofit organization founded by ten mothers during the COVID-19 pandemic to support school-aged children in the Clarence Central School District. The resolution recognizes GTG's significant community contributions, which include providing 177 "Bundles of Love" to help children stay warm during winter, 120 Birthday Bags to help families celebrate children's birthdays, and two Kindness Awards totaling $2,500 for graduating seniors who demonstrate acts of kindness. Working in partnership with the district Family Support Center and school counselors, GTG aims to provide confidential, compassionate support to identified children and families. The organization has been designated as the Organization of the Year by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce, and will be celebrated at its 52nd Annual Awards Gala on March 20, 2025. The resolution formally acknowledges GTG's dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment to community service, and resolves to honor the organization by transmitting an official, engrossed copy of the resolution to Go To Girls, Inc.
