This bill creates a new law that provides preferential treatment for Alabama state residents at state parks by establishing two key provisions: First, residents will be allowed to reserve campsites and cabins (including tent, RV, and equestrian camping sites) up to one month earlier than nonresidents, with the limitation that a resident and their household can only hold one advance reservation at a time.
