This resolution requests the West Virginia Division of Highways to name a specific bridge in Wetzel County (bridge number 52-250/00-003.88, locally known as Stewart Street Bridge) as the "U.S. Army Tustin Brothers Memorial Bridge" in honor of Vernon and Vincent Tustin, two brothers who served in the U.S. Army. The resolution highlights that Vernon and Vincent were part of a family with eight sons, seven of whom served in the military, with Vernon having served specifically in the Korean Conflict. Vernon was a truck driver and retired union carpenter, while Vincent worked as a union boiler maker for over 40 years. Both brothers were members of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120. The resolution not only asks for the bridge to be renamed but also requests that appropriate signage be installed to identify the bridge, and directs the House Clerk to forward a copy of the resolution to the Commissioner of the Division of Highways, thus formally commemorating the Tustin brothers' military service and contributions to their state and country.
