This resolution commends Mr. Nicholas Rucker, who was selected as the 2024 Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership (GOAL) state recipient from the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). As a physical therapist assistant student at Athens Technical College, Rucker was chosen from among 22 college GOAL winners for demonstrating excellent academic and leadership abilities. The GOAL program, which has existed for 52 years, celebrates technical education's importance by bringing together business, government, and industry leaders to highlight the impact of technical colleges on Georgia's workforce and future. The resolution recognizes Rucker's commitment to obtaining the best training for his chosen profession and acknowledges that he will serve as an ambassador for technical education, representing the more than 148,000 TCSG students. The House of Representatives congratulates Rucker for his outstanding achievements and directs the Clerk to provide him with a copy of the resolution, extending best wishes for his continued success.
