Bill Summary
This bill relates to the department of health and human services (HHS) review of anti-obesity medication for purposes of the medical assistance program (Medicaid). The bill requires HHS to review anti-obesity medications for effectiveness, comorbidities, cost savings, and eligibility requirements as described in the bill. HHS shall submit a report to the general assembly by December 1, 2025, containing HHS’s findings and proposed eligibility requirements.
