This bill repeals six outdated Minnesota statutes (325F.02 through 325F.07) related to fire safety measures that pre-date the current statewide fire code. Specifically, the removed statutes included provisions dictating how matches must be manufactured (such as safety composition and ignition temperature), how they should be packaged and labeled, storage requirements in retail stores and warehouses, and penalties for non-compliance.
