This bill provides an $8,600,000 state bond appropriation for Phase 2 of the Hennepin Avenue Suspension Bridge reconstruction project in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The funds, which will be raised through the sale of state bonds, will be granted to Hennepin County and can be used for design engineering, construction engineering, bridge reconstruction, and roadway approach work, including right-of-way acquisition. The Minnesota commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue the bonds in accordance with state statutes and constitutional guidelines.
