This resolution honors the life and memory of Charles Tamlin Hall Jr., a distinguished Georgia citizen who passed away on January 20, 2025. A University of Georgia (UGA) alumnus and lifelong Bulldogs fan, Hall served as President of the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Alumni Association Board of Directors and was the Founder and President/CEO of Association Services Group (ASG) in LaGrange, Georgia, from 1995 to 2021. Deeply committed to his faith, he was an active member of First Baptist Church on the Square, where he served as a Deacon, Greeter, and Usher for over 30 years and attended the Friday Morning Bible Study Group for 45 years. The resolution highlights Hall's personal life, noting he was married to Jan and had two children and six grandchildren, and emphasizes his notable character traits of integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness. The Georgia Senate officially resolves to honor Hall's memory and directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide an official copy of the resolution to his family, recognizing his significant contributions to his community, professional achievements, and personal virtues.
