This bill provides appropriations for the Illinois Law Enforcement Training Standards Board for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, allocating funds from multiple sources to support various law enforcement training and equipment initiatives. The bill appropriates $47,109,300 from different funds for operations, including payments for basic and in-service training services, personal services, state contributions to retirement and social security systems, group insurance, contractual services, travel, commodities, printing, equipment, and telecommunications. Additionally, the bill allocates $4,000,000 from the Law Enforcement Camera Grant Fund for grants to local government units to install video cameras in law enforcement vehicles, train officers in camera operation, and cover data storage and licensing costs.
