These contracts would ensure that bill credits for electricity exported to the grid are based on its value, and the responsible electrical corporation would be required to provide or install the necessary metering equipment at its own cost to track electricity imports and exports. The bill also makes minor technical amendments to existing law regarding net energy metering, including clarifying definitions and updating language for consistency.
