Additionally, the bill requires the certified statement of election results to be posted on the elections official's website in a downloadable spreadsheet format and maintained for at least 10 years. Because these new requirements increase local election officials' duties, the bill is considered a state-mandated local program, which means if the Commission on State Mandates determines there are additional costs, the state will reimburse local agencies for those expenses.
