Within three years of receiving funding, the Secretary must submit a detailed report to congressional committees outlining the study's findings, including collection availability, potential location criteria, and estimated costs for acquiring, constructing, and maintaining the museum. Additionally, the bill encourages collaboration with other institutions like the National Museum of African American History and Culture to enhance the museum's educational and preservation efforts.
