This bill provides a $2,000,000 appropriation from the state bond proceeds fund to the Metropolitan Council for a grant to the city of Woodbury to develop La Lake Park. The funding will support the design, construction, and equipment of park facilities and infrastructure, including an open-air shelter with restrooms, picnic areas, trails and a trailhead, and various site improvements. Additionally, the appropriation covers stormwater management infrastructure and natural resource site improvements aimed at protecting water quality and enhancing ecosystem health.
