This bill appropriates a total of $3,050,000 from the arts and cultural heritage fund to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center for grants to children's museums for interactive exhibits and outreach programs on arts and cultural heritage, covering fiscal years 2026 and 2027. * $175,000 each year for The Works in Bloomington. * $125,000 each year for the WonderTrek Children's Museum in Brainerd-Baxter. * $100,000 each year for the Children's Discovery Center in Breckenridge. * $125,000 each year for the Duluth Children's Museum in Duluth. * $100,000 each year for the Otter Cove Children's Museum in Fergus Falls. * $100,000 each year for the Children's Discovery Museum in Grand Rapids. * $100,000 each year for the Wheel and Cog Children's Museum in Hutchinson. * $175,000 each year for the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota in Mankato. * $175,000 each year for the Great River Children's Museum in St. Cloud. * $100,000 each year for The Village Children's Museum in Willmar. * $100,000 each year for the Mini Sota Ag Museum in Benson. * $150,000 each year for the SPARK Children's Museum in Rochester. To be eligible for a grant, an organization must be an exempt entity that meets the definition for children's museums under Internal Revenue Service activity code A52.
