This bill repeals specific deadlines related to active transportation safety training in Minnesota schools. By eliminating these specific deadlines through the repeal of Minnesota Statutes section 123B.935, subdivision 2, the bill removes the structured timeline for when schools must provide active transportation safety training. Active transportation safety training, which typically involves teaching students about safe walking, bicycling, and other non-motorized transportation methods, will still be important, but schools will have more flexibility in when and how they implement this training. The bill does not eliminate the requirement for such training, but rather removes the prescriptive timeline for its delivery.
