This bill establishes a new structure for the Anson County Board of Commissioners, creating a seven-member board where each member is elected from a single-member residency district. To be eligible to run for or serve on the board, a candidate must be a qualified voter and resident of the district they seek to represent, though all county voters can vote for all districts. The districts used in the 2020 and 2022 elections will continue to be used until revised.
