Additionally, the working group will develop a model for work-based learning opportunities, outlining employer and student responsibilities, and create recommendations for a grant program that specifies how grants will be awarded, student eligibility criteria, potential grant amounts, and overall funding requirements. The Office of Workforce Strategy must submit this detailed plan to the state's legislative committee on higher education and employment advancement by January 1, 2026, after which the working group will be dissolved.
