This bill establishes the Task Force on Municipal Solid Waste in the Willamette Valley, a 12-member committee designed to study and identify solutions for solid waste disposal in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon. The task force will operate on a majority vote basis, with the Governor selecting a chairperson and vice chairperson. Legislative members will serve in an advisory capacity, while other members will serve as volunteers. The task force is set to be automatically repealed on December 31, 2026, providing a defined timeframe for its work.
