This bill, known as the "No Funds for Fascists Act," aims to prohibit U.S. foreign assistance to governments that infringe on free speech rights that would be protected under the U.S. Constitution. Essentially, the legislation seeks to protect free speech globally by conditioning U.S. foreign aid on respect for constitutional speech protections.
