AN ACT To amend Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to motor vehicles and traffic, so as to revise penalties for certain offenses relative to license plates, revalidation decals, temporary operating permits, certificates of registration, certificates of title, and alteration of odometers; to provide for limitations on the private use of dealer vehicles by employees; to provide for required material and design of a dealer's license plate; to amend Chapter 47 of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to used motor vehicles and used motor vehicle parts dealers, so as to provide that the State Board of Registration of Used Motor Vehicle Dealers and Used Motor Vehicle Parts Dealers be subject to the "Georgia Administrative Procedure Act"; to provide for requirements for licensure as a used motor vehicle dealer or used motor vehicle parts dealer; to authorize investigations by the Department of Revenue; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
