Additionally, the legislation mandates that each medspa must prominently display on its website and in a conspicuous location within its facility the supervising physician's name, license number, and any specialty certifications, as well as the names and locations of any other medspas supervised by the same physician. The new law is set to take effect on July 1, 2025, and aims to increase transparency and provide consumers with important information about the medical professionals overseeing these cosmetic service facilities.
