Born in Odessa on May 1, 1950, Bledsoe was the daughter of Peggy Hale Elliott and Jimmie Franklin Elliott, and she had three siblings. She married Bill Bledsoe in 1970 and they were together for over five decades, raising two children, Lance and Rebecca, and later welcoming a grandson, Colton, and a great-grandson, Cinch. Professionally, Bledsoe worked as a substitute teacher and at Bank of America before helping her husband operate Texas Legato Winery in Lampasas. She was known for her community involvement, volunteering with her church and local organizations, and was remembered for her warm, caring nature and generosity. The resolution, adopted by the 89th Texas Legislature, extends heartfelt sympathy to her family members, including her husband, children, siblings, grandson, and great-grandson, and calls for an official copy of the resolution to be prepared for her family, with the House adjourning in her memory.
