This resolution recognizes and commends Colonel (Ret.) Harriet Staten for her distinguished military and professional career. The resolution highlights her 24-year service in the United States Army, where she served as a Logistics Officer, commanded two Headquarters Companies, instructed ROTC students, and concluded her military career as Executive Officer to the Deputy Commanding General of the United States Army Reserve Command. Colonel Staten received numerous military awards, including the Legion of Merit and Meritorious Service Medal, and after retiring from military service, she became a licensed Georgia Real Estate Broker, establishing Promise Realty Inc. and HLS & Associates LLC.
