This resolution recognizes and commends four Rotary Clubs from Forsyth (Forsyth Rotary Club, Lanier Forsyth Rotary Club, South Forsyth Rotary Club, and North Forsyth Rotary Club) for their extensive humanitarian efforts in response to Hurricane Helene. The Rotary Clubs conducted multiple relief trips to South Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, delivering approximately $350,000 worth of critical supplies including food, water, baby supplies, tarps, and chainsaws to hurricane victims. Additionally, club members cooked thousands of Boston Butts (a type of pork roast) to feed victims and first responders. The resolution highlights the clubs' commitment to serving humanity and their significant contributions to disaster recovery efforts. The Senate formally recognizes these organizations for their selfless service and directs the Secretary of the Senate to distribute copies of the resolution to each of the four Rotary Clubs.
