Additionally, the study will analyze how community homes are currently determined and how future determinations will be made, with a specific focus on transportation accessibility and options. By December 31st following the bill's effective date, the commissioners must submit a detailed report with their findings and recommendations to key state leaders, including the Governor, Senate and Assembly leadership, minority leaders, and chairs of mental health and transportation committees. The bill will take effect immediately upon passage, emphasizing the importance of addressing transportation challenges for individuals with developmental disabilities.
