This bill modifies the Texas Election Code to enhance interstate voter registration tracking by requiring additional documentation and reporting procedures when a voter registration applicant has previously resided in another state. Specifically, the bill amends the registration application requirements to explicitly include the city and county of the applicant's former residence, and establishes a new monthly reporting process where voter registrars must document and submit detailed voter information to the secretary of state when an applicant comes from out of state. Under the new provisions, the voter registrar must compile specific data including the voter's full legal name, date of birth, current and previous addresses, social security number (if provided), driver's license number (if provided), and a unique voter identifier.
